The Association of Bucks Golf Captains (ABGC) was established in April 1979 having been formed by a group of club captains, from a number of local clubs, as an offshoot from the London Captains Society.
The objective was then, and continues today, to promote good fellowship amongst the golfing captains and past captains within Buckinghamshire. Since inception ABGC has grown to incorporate many of the clubs within the county and arranges matches against twelve other county past captains as well as several internal golf days for members’ enjoyment.
Membership is open to any current or past captains of golf clubs in Buckinghamshire.
