Financial Update

Although not yet the end of our accounting year little will impact on our financial position between now and the 31 December. I should therefore begin by stating that we are still in a strong position with, on 1 November, bank balances totalling £17,615 and clothing etc. stocks valued at approximately £3200. A total of around £20,800.

Looking forward we do recognise that our costs, nearly all related directly to matches and meetings, are rising as golf clubs increase their charges to meet their own increasing costs. However at this point in time we are aware of most, if not all, of the prices we will be required to pay in 2024.

Projecting forward to this time next year we calculate our total assets are almost certain to be reduced probably by about £1500 to £2000.

With this knowledge your Committee  have recommened that our match/meeting fee should remain at £55 for the year 2024.
