Treasurer’s Report on the Annual Accounts for the year ended 31 August 2015

These account reflect a better than expected year’s results.

The deficit on the matches played, mostly at home, is just £500 more than the surplus achieved last year when the majority of matches were played away.

Although the amount received from members’ annual subscriptions fell again this year, the loss on the Annual Dinner, administrative expenses and the net cost of prizes, taken together, were similarly less.

Although the overall deficit was £3890, taking the years ended 2014 and 2015 together, a surplus of £1,622 was achieved.
